Maine SBDC Recognizes Newly Certified Business Advisors

The Maine Small Business Development Centers (Maine SBDC), a state-wide program that helps entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, recognized two business advisors who received their Core Competencies Certification from the New England Professional Development (NEPD) group on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Newly certified advisors include Chase Nelson (Maine SBDC) and Jodi Cordes (CEI’s Women’s Business Center).

Certified Business Advisor Chase Nelson (Center) with State Directors Linda Rossi (VT SBDC) and Mark Delisle (ME SBDC)      Certified Business Advisor Jodi Cordes (Center) with State Directors Linda Rossi (VT SBDC) and Mark Delisle (ME SBDC) Chase Nelson is a certified business advisor hosted by the Northern Maine Development Commission. He is located in Eastport and serves small businesses in Washington and Aroostook Counties.

Jodi Cordes is a program director and certified business advisor for CEI’s Women’s Business Center Southwest. She is located in Farmington and serves small businesses in Franklin, Androscoggin, Oxford, and Sagadahoc Counties. 

NEPD is a professional development collaboration of the six Small Business Development Centers in New England and includes the Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island programs. The NEPD program provides a comprehensive, core knowledge training program and is a key element of the SBDC’s ability to provide valuable and high-quality services to clients and meet the needs of stakeholders.
