The Maine SBDC helps build and strengthen small businesses through management assistance, training and educational resources. The Maine SBDC network is funded by $1,050,471 in federal funds (43%), which is matched by $1,393,068 in non-federal funds (57%). Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
All services are extended on a non-discriminatory basis to all legal residents and citizens of the US. All Maine SBDC business advising facilities are accessible by persons with disabilities. Interpretation and accommodation services are available upon request.
Due to federal funding requirements, the Maine SBDC is restricted from working with certain types of businesses. Except where a client consents, information disclosed during business advising is strictly confidential to third parties.
